Data Deletion Instructions

Delete your account yourself

Signed-in users can export their data and permanently delete their account in Settings, under Account. Deleting your account removes your profile, connected social accounts, uploaded files and, if you are the only member, your organization and its content.

How to Request Data Deletion

To request the deletion of your data, send an email to:

Please include the following information in your email:

• The email address associated with your RytePost account
• Your full name
• The subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
• Any specific data you would like deleted (or indicate "all data" for complete removal)

What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon receiving your request, we will delete the following data associated with your account:

• Your account profile information
• Social media account connections and OAuth tokens
• Uploaded media files stored in our cloud storage
• Posts, drafts, and scheduled content
• Organization and workspace data (if you are the sole owner)
• Any other personal data we hold about you

Facebook and Instagram Data

If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to RytePost, your data deletion request will also cover:

• Facebook and Instagram OAuth access tokens
• Facebook Page and Instagram account connection data
• Any content published through RytePost to your Facebook or Instagram accounts

You can also remove RytePost's access to your Facebook account directly from your Facebook App Settings.

Processing Timeline

We will process your data deletion request within 30 days of receiving it. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.

Please note that some residual data may be retained in encrypted backups for a limited period for security and legal compliance purposes, after which it will be automatically purged.
